Miliband’s admiration for ‘gay marriage push’

Mar 27, 2015

If there’s one subject which unites David Cameron and Ed Miliband it seems to be the high esteem in which they hold the introduction of gay marriage.

Back in January, David Cameron called the redefinition of marriage one of his highlights for 2014.

Now, Ed Miliband has said that he admires David Cameron for pushing to legalise same-sex marriage. In comments made during a live interview on Channel 4 last night, he identified the introduction of gay marriage as one the things he most admired about the Prime Minister.

Mr Miliband’s support for gay marriage dates back to at least 2012 when he recorded a video saying same-sex weddings should be allowed in churches.
